A living lineage of insight & wisdom
Our Mission & Strategic Framework
Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation (TWIM) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing broad-based access to meditation training and support services. Our mission bridges secular accessibility with evidenced-based meditative frameworks that result in mental health and quality of life outcomes.
We invite partners to invest in our growth to maximize social return across four strategic pillars:
Scalable Instruction — We deliver structured, multi-tier curricula (beginner to advanced) through hybrid online and in-person engagement in classes—fee of charge—delivered through the Tranquil Mind platform.
Global Infrastructure — Our activity and program hub, the TWIM Network platform is a public resource for classes, retreats, symposiums, and dozens of certified instructors with our communities in North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Quality Assurance — We maintain operational excellence through rigorous teacher training and certification tracks that preserve institutional integrity and fidelity.
Targeted Social Impact — We host the Tranquil Veteran, a specialized wellness platform for military veterans and their families navigating PTSD and related psychological challenges.
Tranquil wisdom insight meditation was derived from ancient Buddhist texts or Suttas. The practice of TWIM was gradually developed over many years of teaching by the late Bhante Vimalaramsi, an American born Buddhist monk and author. It’s appeal and popularity is attributed to a host of benifits and a systematic practice methodology. Certified instructors offer classes an programs world-wide.
Vision for the Future
Our ultimate vision is to cultivate a global infrastructure where mental resilience tools are universally accessible, secularly viable, and authentically grounded.
